When you buy items online, the seller often has a space where you can enter a coupon or promotion code. Most of the time, you don’t have this code, and you end up paying full price for whatever it is you want.
About a month ago, I was making a reservation on the Budget Car Rental website. Towards the end, they asked me if I had a promotion code. I didn’t, but right there, I got the brilliant idea to google “Budget promotion code.” It took me to a website with several codes for the car rental company. I picked the most plum offer: one rental day free. It worked fine and I did get the free day. I did the same thing to save $3 on a shuttle ride to the airport for my father-in-law last week.
There are several websites that give away those coupon codes. I’m not sure what their angle is, but the codes are legit, so try a simple search. You’re bound to save some money.
