Serious Philanthropy

Someone once told me that at Graceland, Elvis had a very large collection of framed, cancelled checks that he had written to charities–each one was for $25,000.

I know, you would do the same thing if you had that kind of money.

Would you? Then what’s stopping you?

So you don’t have enough right now to give $25,000 to even one charity, much less several. But, you can give something.

Why not spread $25 checks around the same way Elvis did $25K checks?

The spirit of philanthropy has less to do with having a lot to give and more with wanting to share what you have.
